This image of the White House Ruin was shot this may in Canyon De Chelly National Monument on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona.

This was my first trip to the monument but I can tell you it definately will not be my last.

Canyon De Chelly is an amazing place both spiritually and visually. It is one of the longest continually inhabited locations in North America.

The Navajo that we encountered were kind and gracious as well as amazing artists.

We had only two days in the area which definately was not enough. I look forward to returning as soon as I can but next time it will be a bit earlier in the Spring as it got quite warm during the day.
