Here is a little video created from Carolyn and Floyd's Engagement session a few months back. We had a blast shooting these image. We shot in and around Harrisburg, Pennsylvania using the train station and State Capital as back drops. As well we shot at some local parks and Carolyn and Floyd's home.

Hi everyone-

Well the big day has arrived for Carolyn and Floyd. Today I will be shooting their wedding and reception. I am really excited to shoot with them because not only are they friends but because they have such cool attitude towards the photography and have chosen such a cool venue for their reception.

We'll be shooting at the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum in Hershey, PA. This is a really cool location for a shoot and I can't wait!

So today's image was shot at the train station in Harrisburg, PA. Another very cool spot to shoot at. In this image Floyd is working his mojo on Carolyn. It was lit with a single beauty dish and ambient light. Post processing involved cleaning up unneeded details and local contrast boosting as well as a slight color bump.

Hi everyone-

Well its raining here and my sister said they might get up to 5 inches of snow in some areas of PA today! Crazy.

Today's image was shot during Carolyn and Floyd's engagement session. For part of the day they dressed up in period attire and shot at locations that fit into the period.

This image was shot in front of the PA Capital building. Floyd came up with the idea to simulate a broken down car while on a date. I think Carolyn's expression says it all!

The image was lit with one beauty dish and ambient light.

HI everyone-

Well Carolyn and Floyd's big day is only a few days away. I spoke with them yesterday and everything is running smoothly and everyone is excited for Friday to arrive.

Today's images from their engagement shoot were taken in and around Carolyn's '64 Ford Thunderbird "Jet Bird". It's a very cool car that I will feature on this blog sometime in the future.

Hi everyone-

Today's image is one more from the e-shoot with Carolyn and Floyd this past week. I wanted to try something a little different so this image was a long exposure coupled with a little light painting.

But it didn't end there I also shot a few other long exposure images of the scene and incorporated those into the final image to "fix" some problem areas.

Hi everyone-

Last weekend I had such a great time shooting with Scotty and Carolyn. They were a lot of fun, and really into the shoot. All of this made my job sooo easy.

I am really looking forward to their wedding coming up soon. Keep you eyes out for them in the future.

We ended the shoot along some railroad tracks in York, PA. The sun was going down and the lighting was nice and soft.

Hi everyone-

As we walked around the fire training school grounds I got an idea...

Since Scott is a firefighter and we were shooting some images of him and Carolyn around the drill tower, why not set up a little rescue scenario. There was definitely more laughing that rescuing going on but it was a lot of fun.



While we did that Pebbles the Wonder Dog found a friend...



After we wrapped it up at the fire training center we moved on to John Rudy County Park where Scotty and Carolyn shared some nice quiet moments walking around the park.

Continuing with images from Carolyn and Scotty's engagement shoot we moved to the county fire training school. Scott is an Assistant Chief at the Grantley Station of the newly created York Area United Fire and Rescue.

So it was only natural that we included some fire department related images in the mix. I thought some more emotional images would be in order here...

Hi everyone-

I hope your having a great day so far. The weather is just perfect here as it has been for the last few days. It has been so nice to be out and about and not have to worry about rain. This is how spring is supposed to be!!

So today is day two of images from Carolyn and Scotty's engagement shoot this past weekend. In these images Pebbles ( I call her The Wonder Dog) joined us.

She is very well trained, very well behaved and can even spell !!! If you need to get her attention, albeit briefly, just spell S-Q-U-I-R-R-E-L. You have to act quickly though because after the q or maybe u she is off to find them.

She was a lot of fun to have a long on the shoot and helped us create some cool images.

Hi everyone-

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a happy Mother's Day. We sure did. I was nice to take the weekend at out own pace. We haven't been able to do that for a while. We also got to see family, but we didn't get to see Mom because she is already in Montana!!! Lucky her. We did talk though and I will see her next week!!!!

This weekend I had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session with an awesome couple, Carolyn and Scotty. We had a great time and shot a ton of images in several locations. We did as much laughing and joking as we did shooting. In the process we created some fantastic images.

Not only did I get to shoot with Carolyn and Scotty but also with Pebbles (the wonder dog). They call her Pebbles and I call her the wonder dog because she is just amazing and does pretty much anything you want her to do on command.

The wedding day is fast approaching and I am very excited to have the opportunity to be their photographer.

Hi everyone-

I'm going to finish out the week with two really cool images of Chad and Erin Fuller, of Fuller Edge Photography. These images were shot inside The Downtown a very hip cocktail lounge in downtown Las Vegas Freemont Street area.



Not only are these guys fantastic photographers but also great models. They knew just how to move and pose for the best shots.



The lighting and art work in The Downtown were very nice and added the perfect dramatic background for these images.
