Another Slow Day In the Park
Hi all--
I am running dangerously low on battery power so this will be a quick one.
It was a pretty uneventful day photo wise for me but I got a few good shots.
First it was the dominate bull elk again this morning, looking tough with the grass in his hair.
Then off to shoot owls. No owls today but found the cyote looking around.
Ran into a big griz this afternoon but didnt get any good shots of him cause of where he was at. I'll post one of those tomorrow.
Maybe some snow in the am. It sure is cooling off. It's raining now though.
Oh well off to bed...

Brian, remember you have no one to share the grizzly with this year so get the spray ready. You mention slow days but remember a terrible day in the west is better than a great day in Pa. I see you were in West Yellowstone last night, that is a cool feature. Now go get us some close ups of those grizzly teeth.
Brad
I agree. A slow day in Yellowstone is better that most days in Ohio. And I like the animals in the tall grasses.
I was looking for people who were larger, older and slower than me so I could keep them in between me and the animals. I figured if that didn't work I could take a page out of your book Brad and trip them.
You are absolutely correct, even though things ahve been tough animal wise I have enjoyed every last second of my time here.
I have met a lot of interesting people and have done a lot of standing around chatting...go figure.
