Nikon D2X with Lensbaby2.0 4.0 apeture ring @ 1/200th ISO 100

I started my fall clean up in the yard today even though it felt more like late June than October.

While I was working I trimmed some of the dead blooms off of several pots of wild flowers that were planted late this year and are blooming nicely now.

I started thinking of Mark Johnson's new book Botanical Dreaming. It's a fantastic book that takes you through of journey of motivation and creativity while also teaching you new skills with both the camera and Photoshop. The book is set to a theme of botanical imagery. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in photography.

So once I was done cleaning up I thought I would give it a shot. I got my Lensbaby 2.0 out and started shooting. I made several images that I was pretty happy with but I think this is the one that I liked the best.
