Solace In Solitude...

One of my favorite things is how at peace one can feel while watching the sun set over a grand western vista.
There is so much to take in, the views, the colors, the smell of the evening and the sounds of the night coming alive.
There is so much, yet it is so peaceful. So peaceful that you can lose your self in its glory.
And then and only then, once you have allowed your self to become immersed in its beauty can you find solace in its solitude...

Very relaxing and calming. Now were there really 30 other photographers beside you?
LOL, no not on this particular day. There were a few up at the traditional spot on the pond and there was one other guy walking around down where we were, but he wasn't a photographer.
The day kinda started to fall apart and the clouds were disappearing. I think many thought it would be a wash. But that’s what
I was there for so we set up and waited to see.
I think it was worth the wait.
On another note, thanks for always posting Nick. Some days I think if it wasn't for you posting I would be unsure if anybody looked or even like the stuff I'm posting.
