A Prayer of Hope...

2008-10-27

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend.

Recently I spent a few days in New York City, a place that I absolutely love to visit.

Not only are the photographic opportunities limitless, the city it's self leaves me in complete awe. I wonder around it's streets mesmerized by it's complexity and energy.

I am not sure how long I could stay, but I love visiting and shooting on it's streets.

The diversity of the city is one of the things that amazes me the most. Not only it's ethnic diversity but it's economic, architectural, social and emotional diversity as well.

Today's image highlights something that no city is proud of but is almost powerless to do anything about and that is it's homeless population. No matter a cities wealth, social programs, or heart there are still those who can not or choose not to take advantage of what is offered for so many different reasons.

Remember that if you are sitting inside reading this post at your computer, then life ain't so bad...

Have a great day!
