Fall Glory...

Hi everyone-
Today's Skywatch 'Friday' image was shot along the Cattleman's Landing Road in Grand Teton National Park.
I love it because it contains all of the elements of a nice landscape image, bold color, an interesting sky and a interesting subject. This was pretty tough to come by on this years trip. It was severely clear on most days and while the area is beautiful we worked hard on most days to come up with good shots.
Below is a second version of the image after some toying around in photoshop. I wanted it to have a more painterly feel. It is not intended to replace the photograph, just another take on it, something that might look good in a gallery wrap or something like that.

Oh, I love that shot! I got to Grand Teton National Park for the first time in 2007. Those mountains are the best in the USA!

Interesting Photoshop effect...
I don't use it often, but my favorite Photoshop filter is the one they call Smart Blur (retains edge sharpness while blurring the interior)...
