The Back To Work Funk...

I made this image back in 2000 at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. It is an image that has always stuck with me because I think there is a real sadness to his eyes.
Yesterday was a ho hum kinda day. It was rainy and gloomy. It was my first day back to work after shooting in the west for over a month. Not that I don't enjoy my job because I really do. It was more the realization that it will be almost 9 months until I can get back to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.
So I thought this image kinda lent itself to express how I felt yesterday.

Interesting that you posted a picture of your susters eye two days ago and now this. What would Freud say?
LOL... Oh and by the way it's not a self portrait as some at work have suggested!
