Powwow Tin Type...
This image was shot at the North American Indian Days this July in Browning, Montana. Phillip is a Salish from Ronan, MT and travels to many powwows.
He was very gracious and quite funny. We shot a few different images during our shoot and this was one of my favorites.
As you know if you have been reading lately I have been trying out different methods of aging photos that I have taken.
So I set out to see what I could do with this image. There was a ton of work that went into the image but the basis was a scan of the back of a turn of the century Tin Type photograph. I inverted the image added it as a layer over the image of Phillip.I then added about 25 additional layers manipulating each one to add to the aged look.
As I said previously this is a learning process periodically as I improve upon this process I will add more images to see what you think.
AS ALWAYS I REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR FEEDBACK!!!!!
