Well it's York Fair week here in York, PA home to the oldest fair in America. So in honor of the fair here's a few days worth of images from the 2006 York Fair.

This year is kind of bittersweet as the fair rolls in because there is something very important missing this year. The Worlds of Wonder side show is no longer traveling the country as it leader and circus legend Ward Hall has decided to finally hang up his top hat and retire.

While a long and happy retirement is deserved for this man who has been in the circus and side show business since the 50's he will be truly missed.

I had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Hall last year and spend 5 of the most entertaining and educational hours of my life with him and his cast of performers.

He was kind and gracious and gave me complete access to his world. I am currently working on putting together a show of images from that fun day.
