Well another 800 miles and about 12 hours has gone by. I got to Rapid City South Dakota tonight at about 10pm mountain time. I was glad to get here. Today's trip seemed to go much slower, probably because all of the driving took place in only 2 states.

Today's image was shot at a South Dakota rest area overlooking the Missouri River. I arrived just as the sun was setting. I would have liked to have shot more images there but I had to move on.

Tomorrow I will be heading to Yellowstone. I am not sure when the next good internet acess will be but as soon as I find it I will update the blog.
