Today I imagined that we arrived in Africa and became familiar with our surroundings. After getting settled we headed out for a quick jaunt to see if we might find some wild life.

Not long after leaving camp we came upon this giraffe which was part of a group of several others. They were feeding on some leaves at a small grouping of trees.

After watching for a while our guide said we best head back to camp for a great dinner of wild African game.

Tomorrow we will head out early in search of some great wildlife...
