Hi everyone-

Happy Monday. It is for me at least because I don't have to go to work today.

Hope you all had a great weekend. We did here. It was the first weekend that we didn't have a million things to do. So the pace was a bit slower and that was a welcome change.

On Sunday we finally were able to go out and get some fish for the pond. We bought 5 'Show Koi'. They are still small, about 3 inches in length butt hey will grow larger. While I was adding the fish to the pond I also accidentally added my cell phone as well.

This was the second time this phone was completely submerged in water and this time was just a little to much for it. It would turn on but would only bring up a white screen. So it was off to the store to replace the phone. The upside to the story is I was able to get the phone replaced for free. Hopefully the new one wont see water any time soon.

Today's image was shot on Logan Pass in Glacier National Park this summer. This guy walked up to this point and posed for me for a few moments. Then he changed locations just a little and posed again.

I have entered three images in the Outdoor Photographer photo contest and this is one of the entries. i will be posting some more info about the contest as there is a reader's choice award that you can all vote for. (I hope) the voting period is later this month so when the time gets closer I will post the details.

Have a great day!

Now this is why your phone ended up in the water. If we don't see these guys in a couple of months I am going to hit you with my bear spray, LOL.

Of course this is terrific. You are that sort of photographer.. but.... well... um... in a perfect world... I sort of wish you'd fired off a series you'd be able to stitch into a panorama. I can just imagine this majestic beast in the majesty of that setting. Now you don't have to imagine it, you lucky devil, but darn it, without that pan... I have to. Grumble....
