#409- The Wait
Hi everyone-
Today's image was shot in the are behind the chutes at the rodeo grounds. These guys are all bull riders and they are hanging out in the shade of a horse trailer waiting for their turn to ride.
there is a bond between these guys. They are friends on the and off the road. Seeing each other every weekend, sharing rides and a bond knowing that most people could never do what they do every weekend on the road.
They were kind enough to let me have a few moments with them shooting images pretty close up and right in their faces. They joked around and teased each other while I shot. It was a lot like what might happen if shooting in the fire house.
I am posting two images today because I am not sure which I like better. Do the borders help? Do they really make no difference or do they take away from the image? What do you think?
Thanks for your input, Have a great day!

I like the border on web pages - not sure about a print. I love this rodeo series.
Another great shot Brian!
I don't remember ever seeing a really nice photo and thinking to myself "what this photo needs is a border!"
In this particular photo I think the border treatment is neutral, meaning it doesn't help or hurt the image much.
Keep up the good work!
Barry
I vote borders
Personally, I like the edge, especially because I feel the leg in the lower left corner is a little distracting; so between vignetting and the edge, it hides that corner a little. If anything I think I might even add more vignetting or possibly make the frame darker.
