Beartooth Wilderness Circa?...

2007-11-25

Today's image is a bit of a departure from what I had been doing only in that it is not intended to have the look of a tin type photograph.

Today I just attempted to age the image to look like something that would have been taken when the first photographic explorations moved through the area with photographers such as Jackson and L.A. Huffman.

I would really like to read your feedback on these images. Especially on ways to improve them or what I should change. Any thoughts would be great.

This image was shot in 2003 in the Beartooth Wilderness on the Wyoming Montana boarder. If you ever have the opportunity to visit this place you really should. It is beautiful and its eco system is under threat from nearby mining and other activities.

Brian, This is wonderful. I looks so very much like a very old photograph. There may be a spot in the trees near middle that seems sharper than other places.

Very nice and well done!!
