Diamond In The Rough...



While I was out scouring some local architectural salvage yards today I came across this great old cart.

I'm not sure of its origin or use but it reminds me of something you might have seen at a railroad depot.

It isn't large, maybe 2x3 feet, and it has a single metal wheel in the center.

I found it under a pile of junk in an outside courtyard. It is currently being used to haul junk out to a large dumpster.

I photographed the cart for about 15 min and got a few real nice shots.

The most interesting thing about it is the great character it has from years of painting and repainting and even more so hard use.
