Wouldn't You Like To Ride In My Beautiful Balloon...
Hi everyone-
I shot this image of a couple getting ready to go on a balloon ride. It was a gamble on how well it might turn out as I was shooting directly into the sun.
I positioned the sun behind the burner to block it out as much as possible. I knew there was going to be a lot of flare but it was luck to get the starburst effect.
I think the overall success of the image owes a lot to the Nikon D300 and the active D lighting feature which is designed to help balance these type of exposures.
I though it ended up looking like an add for something.
As always I'd love to hear your feedback. Have a great day!
