Glacier Big Horn...
Hi everyone-
A little late on today's post but I had a million things to get accomplished today. Most of which I did.
This image was shot just east of Logan Pass in in Glacier National Park this July. We were able to make into the park on the Going To The Sun Highway's opening day. It was pretty late opening this year but if you saw how much snow was there I'm sure you'd understand why.
The Big Horns were very visible around the pass this summer. We easily saw 30 or so in that area. Several times we had to wait for large herds to get off the road.
What was also interesting this year was that many of them stopped and posed as if we had hired them. They were very cooperative which was great.
**ON ANOTHER NOTE**
An image that I shot in Dover Township last year at a multi alarm commercial structure fire was selected to be in the FireRescue Magazine's 2009 calendar. You can see the image on the March pages of the calendar.
