#490 Riding Out...

Hi everyone-
Today's post is a bit late because I slept in a bit today after getting home from NYC after 2 am!! We had a great time though taking my cousins all over the city, seeing everything we could cram in!!
Today's image was shot during a branding on the ranch where over 400 head of cattle were branded, inoculated and tagged. In this image several of the large group of area ranchers who came to help are riding out towards the corral where the branding was to take place. It was probably about 6:30 in the morning and the sun was still very low in the sky making for some cool light.
The image is process the same way as yesterday's.

This is so wonderfully cinematic that I had to look at it a long time just to determine whether or not one of the riders was John Wayne!! :-)

I have resorted my mail several times and my invitation to join you is just not there. I guess it's another one of those "lost in the mail" items.
